Today we surfaced early and moved out of our Saweni Beach apartment and headed to our chosen new accommodation for the next four days. Unfortunately things had changed since the previous day and the rooms we wanted were not available (aw bollochs!) so we went for plan B which was the Smugglers Cove hostel where we’d be staying in a 32 bed dorm (very cosy).
The hostel was actually very nice, with a swimming pool, bar, great food, lots of travellers and set right on the beach. That’s what we’re talking about. It was also a good bit cheaper than our beach apartment so we even saved a few bucks.
We spent the day chilling out in the sun, running along the beach and swimming in the pool. The temperature was a good bit cooler than California, but the sun was still pretty fierce. Good reason to wear sun screen I hear you say. Eh… ooops!!
After another glorious sunset we took to the bar and chilled out with a couple of brand new Irish boys (brand new means ‘very nice’, not ‘fresh from the shops’) where a quite drink soon turned into a raging torrent of alcohol. Quality : )
