Another lazy day in the dessert

With the dessert temperature at a constant 38-44 degrees the heat can really take it out of you, which is good because we didn’t feel like doing much anyway. We did however manage to make it out for lunch with Doug.

Before leaving he took some time to show us his new pride and joy, a huge assault rifle that looked like something out of the Terminator! To be honest we thought it was a BB gun at first (it looked like it was made of plastic!) but once you got a hold of this thing you knew all about it! See below for some very random shots (pictures that is). He took us to a local Irish / Celtic bar where the walls were adorned with Celtic memorabilia and posters.

After a large lunch and a few drinks we relaxed once again in the pool before Doug fired on the barbeque for a huge dinner of steak, sausages, pork, baked potatoes, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheesy garlic bread. God that sounds good! Top points to Doug for his cooking : )

Finally it was back off to Greasewood Flats for another random group session of drinking. Life is gooooood.
