The river (can't remember) runs through Cairns and into the sea. As most rivers do of course. Anyway, it's a great place to go fishing, which we did a number of times. We all chipped in and hired a wee boat for the day complete with fishing gear and bait. Sun, water, fish, tropical rainforest, what more could you ask for!?
