Green Island

Green island is the closest island off the coast of Cairns which is why this was our first taste of the reef (it was cheap!). The island was stunning, the weather was perfect and the coral and fish were beautiful. Maybe not the best example of the Great Barrier Reef (a lot of the coral was bleached and damaged due to tourists) but for a first impression it was awesome.
